Embedded Systems & IoT Intern
About the Role
Support development, testing and integration of embedded controllers, sensors, communications and IoT-connected product features. You will work with microcontrollers, read datasheets, perform connectivity tests, validate sensor readings and support device-to-cloud integration.
What You May Work On

- Work with microcontrollers, sensors and connected-device systems.
- Support firmware updates and controlled feature development.
- Read wiring diagrams, pin mappings, datasheets and interface specifications.
- Perform communication, connectivity and data-acquisition tests.
- Validate sensor readings, device status and telemetry.
- Support device-to-cloud or device-to-fog integration.
- Assist with debugging hardware-software interaction problems.
- Prepare test procedures, results and handover information.

- Ask for clarification instead of making major unsupported assumptions.

- Test work before review or submission.
- Maintain only the documentation needed to explain, reproduce, test, review or hand over the work.
- Protect Company, client, project and personal information.
- Participate in review, integration, correction and final handover.
- Work respectfully with teammates and accept technical feedback.
- Use Company and client systems only for authorised internship work.

Basic Requirements
Education
- Currently pursuing or recently completed Electronics, Electrical, Embedded Systems, IoT, Mechatronics or a related technical programme.
Technical Foundation
- Basic knowledge of electronic components and circuits
- Interest in microcontrollers, sensors and connected systems
- Ability to read basic circuit diagrams and datasheets
- Willingness to work in lab or field environments where required

Internship Structure
90 or 180 days depending on the internship listing and offer.
