Electronics, CAD & PCB Design Intern
About the Role
Support circuit, PCB, enclosure and hardware-product development through controlled design, review and prototype validation. You will prepare schematics, perform PCB layout, check component compatibility, prepare BOMs and support prototype assembly and verification.
What You May Work On

- Study existing circuit, component and mechanical requirements.
- Prepare or revise schematics under technical review.
- Perform PCB layout and component-placement work.
- Check footprints, pin mapping, connectors and interface compatibility.
- Prepare BOMs and manufacturing files where assigned.
- Support enclosure, structural-body and mechanical CAD development.
- Review datasheets and identify electrical/mechanical constraints.
- Support prototype assembly, verification and issue tracking.

- Communicate blockers, risks and delays early.
- Ask for clarification instead of making major unsupported assumptions.
- Understand and explain submitted work rather than submitting copied or unverified material.
- Use AI tools responsibly and verify any generated code, research or technical information.
- Test work before review or submission.
- Maintain only the documentation needed to explain, reproduce, test, review or hand over the work.
- Protect Company, client, project and personal information.
- Participate in review, integration, correction and final handover.
- Work respectfully with teammates and accept technical feedback.
- Use Company and client systems only for authorised internship work.

Basic Requirements
Education
- Currently pursuing or recently completed Electronics, Electrical, ECE, Mechatronics, Mechanical/Product Design or a related field.
Technical Foundation
- Basic electronic-component and circuit knowledge
- Ability or willingness to learn schematic and PCB design tools
- Careful attention to dimensions, pinouts, ratings and documentation
- Willingness to work with prototypes and testing equipment

Internship Structure
90 or 180 days depending on the internship listing and offer.
